WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston was a guest on the M&F Reps podcast where he discussed a handful of topics, including his Triple Threat tag-team ladder match at WrestleMania 36, his participation in the new Netflix film The Main Event, and how quarantine has changed his training.

“Any time you're in a ladder match you're going to get banged up. So this was no different. [But] we're proud to have been able to put on such a great ladder match, at the expense of tooting my own horn.”

“I think we did something that was really creative in [the WrestleMania 36 match]… sometimes you're in the middle of a match and you know that it's special. So that feeling was definitely happening. There was no one in the crowd it was still WrestleMania to us.”

“My personal trainer is Rob McIntyre, he's the guy who trains with John Cena, too. He's done a really good job of switching my workouts up. But now, to not have the option of doing any kind of heavy lifting, not having a barbell, not having weights… it's great to keep your body guessing.”

“I'm not foolish enough to think that just because you get on a mic in the ring that you're going to be well off in front of the screen, you know? So this was a really good way for me to kind of get my feet wet.”

“It's every kid's dream to become a superhero and a WWE Superstar. So this is like every kid's dream. I know. If I was a kid and I saw this movie, I'd be like, I want this to be me!”
